t <br />Housing Inspection Report <br />FROM: Marian Dent, Housing Inspector/Code Compliance Officer <br />DATE: February 28, 2001 <br />SUBJ: 5401 S I" Street, Everett, WA <br />During an inspection of the building situated on this property the following deficiencies <br />were noted. These deficiencies were sufficient to declare the building to be sub -standard <br />pursuant to the Housing Code and/or dangerous pursuant to the Building Code as adopted <br />by the City of Everett: <br />Housine Code deficiencies: <br />1. All vital systems, heating, electrical, and plumbing are in a state of disrepair. <br />2. Glass is broken out of windows, exterior doors are broken creating a lack of <br />protection for the interior from exterior elements. <br />3. The roof of the house is rotted. <br />4. There is wood rot in the structural members of the building. <br />5. 'rhere is a lack of exterior weather protection. <br />6. Ceiling and wall coverings are falling. <br />7. There is dampness throughout the building. <br />8. There is dilapidation throughout the building and a lack of maintenance. <br />9. The interior and exterior premises are scattered with kitchen garbage, trash, debris, <br />discarded furniture, clothing, and personal items. <br />10. The house is open to the public, is an attractive nuisance to inquisitive minors, and a <br />hazardous nuisance to the health, safety and welfare of the public. <br />
