44 �� L�- ;Soo � Sb a.= February 11, 1976 . • The Regular Meeting�of .:he Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 A.M., February 11, 1976 in the Conf.erence Room of the Everett City Hall with President Gipson presiding and all Councilmen in attendance except Cour.cilman Aldcroft who arrived at 9:25 A.�f. GENERAI. DISCUSSZ�V President Gipson explained to the Council that several of the Council people had requested a meeting to just talk about things in general without any special agenda items before them. A general fliscussion was hela on such things as street lighting, sig- nalization, parking, and also a suggestion that the department heads could be included in these general discussions to enable the Council- men to ask them about various items they might have in mind. The meeting recessed at 9:50 A.M, to reconvene in the Council Chambers. The Regular Meeting of the Everett City Council reconvened at 10:00 A.M. in the Council Chambers of the Everett Cit_y Hall, President Gipson pre- siding. Upon Roll Call it was found that all Counci=men were in attend- ance. Minutes of the meeting held February 4, 1976 were aPproved as orinted. APPOINTMENTS Mayor Anderson announced he had made the following appointments and re- quested concurrence by the Council: Henry Southern, Senior Citizen Advisory IIoard, term expiring January 1, 1982. Ted biuncaster, Senior Citizen Advisory Board, term expiring January 1, 1982. Douglas Black, Board of Adjustment, term expiring January 1, 1980. Stephen L. Chase, Park IIoard, term expiring January 1, 1982. Moved by Councilman Kinch, seconded by Councilman Rucker to concur in the appointments by Mayor Anderson. Roll was called with alJ. Councilmen voting yes. Motion Carried President Gipson announced that the Mayor was accepting recommendations for appointments to the ESAC Committee. t2oved b}� Councilman Kinch, seconded by Councilman Langus to add Items 9 and 10 to the agenda today.
