44 <br />�� L�- ;Soo � Sb a.= <br />February 11, 1976 . <br />• The Regular Meeting�of .:he Everett City Council was called to order at <br />8:30 A.M., February 11, 1976 in the Conf.erence Room of the Everett City <br />Hall with President Gipson presiding and all Councilmen in attendance <br />except Cour.cilman Aldcroft who arrived at 9:25 A.�f. <br />GENERAI. DISCUSSZ�V <br />President Gipson explained to the Council that several of the Council <br />people had requested a meeting to just talk about things in general <br />without any special agenda items before them. <br />A general fliscussion was hela on such things as street lighting, sig- <br />nalization, parking, and also a suggestion that the department heads <br />could be included in these general discussions to enable the Council- <br />men to ask them about various items they might have in mind. <br />The meeting recessed at 9:50 A.M, to reconvene in the Council Chambers. <br />The Regular Meeting of the Everett City Council reconvened at 10:00 A.M. <br />in the Council Chambers of the Everett Cit_y Hall, President Gipson pre- <br />siding. Upon Roll Call it was found that all Counci=men were in attend- <br />ance. <br />Minutes of the meeting held February 4, 1976 were aPproved as orinted. <br />APPOINTMENTS <br />Mayor Anderson announced he had made the following appointments and re- <br />quested concurrence by the Council: <br />Henry Southern, Senior Citizen Advisory IIoard, term expiring January 1, 1982. <br />Ted biuncaster, Senior Citizen Advisory Board, term expiring January 1, 1982. <br />Douglas Black, Board of Adjustment, term expiring January 1, 1980. <br />Stephen L. Chase, Park IIoard, term expiring January 1, 1982. <br />Moved by Councilman Kinch, seconded by Councilman Rucker to concur in the <br />appointments by Mayor Anderson. <br />Roll was called with alJ. Councilmen voting yes. <br />Motion Carried <br />President Gipson announced that the Mayor was accepting recommendations <br />for appointments to the ESAC Committee. <br />t2oved b}� Councilman Kinch, seconded by Councilman Langus to add Items 9 <br />and 10 to the agenda today. <br />Roll was called with all Councilmen voting yes. <br />Motion Carried <br />
