There is a considerable amount of moisture <br />in this area. <br />� <br />� <br />8. There also appears to be consideraUle amount of deterioration <br />at the base of the load bearing posts and at the foundation <br />along the north and west walls. <br />E <br />10 <br />The support beam for the deck at the extreme nortlzwest corner <br />of the balcony is not adequately supported and anchored. <br />The pipe columns supporting the balcony along the west side <br />of the building appear to be inadequate to resist axl.e loads. <br />ll. It will be necessary for the owner to retain a st_uctural <br />engineer, approved by this department , to conduct a structural <br />examination to determine the structural safety of the building <br />as pertains to Part V1 of the building Code. The engineers <br />report to the owner shall also be provided to this department. <br />All work as may be recommended within this report shall also <br />be comoleted to the engineers satisfaction prior to any <br />occupancies of the building being granted. <br />12. There is broken glass in all of the windows which consti-tutes <br />a definate hazard. This glass should be removed immediately. <br />All window� shall be equipped with sash and glass in complete <br />compliance cvith Chapters 33 and 59 and part III of the code. <br />13. A:ost of the wiiiny in the building doea not comply with <br />the current electrical code. All wiring shall be redone to <br />comply with the code. <br />14. The electrical service has been altered to the exte.it that <br />it no l�nger c�mplies with the code. 1� new service complying <br />to the code shal2 Ue installed. <br />15. Tlze entire plumbing system appears to be non complying, and <br />plumbed with non complying materials. There are a number of <br />fixtures removed. The plumbing system shall be made to <br />comply with tt�e requirements of the plumbing codr. <br />Upon receipt of plans, a structural report and an application Lor <br />a building permit, the plans will be reviewed and if they are found <br />to comply with the codes a permit nay be issued for remodeling and <br />repair of tne buildin9. Ttte building shall not be occupied at any- <br />time without. first a Cer.ti:icate of Occupancy being issued. <br />� <br />
