'� <br />The building is a full two-story frame with a full basement. It was built <br />in 1898. Each of the three floors has an area of 4,704 square feet by <br />outside measurement. Foundation is partially concr'ete and partial block <br />and post. <br />It has a 12-foot ceiling on the first floor; 14-ioot ceiling on the <br />second (upper) floor and 8-ioot ceiling in the basement. AIl floors are <br />fir. Living quarters (apartments) have been finished in the rear Jf the <br />basement and the rear ot the first floor. <br />Other than the apariment, the basement floor is unfinished except for fir <br />flooring. Floor joists are 2" x 10". 8" x 8" posts in 1he basement. They <br />are loczted on 8-foot centers the length ot the unfinished portion wi'th <br />5 rows across the building. <br />Most of the wall finish of both upper floors is plaster on wood lathe <br />ihough some wood veneer finish has been instailed on the main floor. <br />Ceilings of both upper floors are plaster. x� <br />Ten plumbing fixtures had been installed on thc three floo�s, including on <br />electric hot water tank. AIl fixtures are missing or badly damaged <br />except a two-compartrnent Icitchen sink in the basement apartment. <br />The electrical system is sub-standard and very indadequate. There is no <br />heating sysiem in the building. <br />Plumbiny is galvanized piping in very poor mndition. Water ieaks through the <br />ceiling of the upper floor and has caused the plaster to fall in may places <br />as it has on the walls also. <br />�� <br />
