The plaster on walls and ceiling ot the main tloor has loosened and "' fallen in may places. The wood veneer walls on the main floor have rotied out. These walts were instalied when a walk-in cold storage - room was installed on the main floor to accommodate a business that at one time occupied the front half of the main floor. r The floors of all three levels of the building are in fair condition, except the floors on each side of the tront end oT the basement level are sagging. � Except for solid sash windows across the front of the main floor,most of the windows are double hung wood sash. AIl glass has bee� broken out. The building has been standing vacant with a�l doors open. Vandals have , caused con;iderable damage on all three ;'loors in addition to the weather and lack of building maintenance. [xterior walls have 2" x 6" studs with wood exterior sheathing. The front (wesi) wall has a bricktex exierior finish in poor condition. The north wall has a steel lathe stucco finish for the upper two floors. Much of the stucco is cracked and peeled away. The exterior finish of the basement floor on the north side and all three iloors of the east side (re3r) ot the building is asbestos shingie. Poriions of the shingles are missing on the east side. e The south side of the building for all three floors is covered with thin imitation brick steel siding. blost is rusty and loose. The roof is very lo�.v pitch gable built-up tarpaper. A 12-toot wide wood deck extends from the front (west) side of ihe building io the city street curb. A 5;' wide wood deck extends along a portion of the north side of the building from ihe front providing entry to ihe rear of this main floor znd to the upper floor. This deck is in poor condition.
