Manlcy, in order for. him to rchabilitai:c lhe building. Also instructions were given for him to board up tLe building and mal:e it secure immediately. Many complaints had Ueen coming in regarding vandalism and people in the bui.lding, and as of June 19, the bui.lding was c.ompletely vandalized and open to the public. He said they were going to ask for the Council to abate the building at one of the L-irst meetings in July, but since then a John Perguson of Seattle had called and said he was buying the property and would like time to bring the building up to cod�. After considerable discussion President Kinch asked that a letter be given to Mr. Ferguson stating exactly what would have to be done to bring this building up to code so that he was aware of the cost involved.
