ODD FELLOWS HALL IN LOWELL �� — f_S �-� S <br />Bob Royce of the Inspection Department reminded the Council that on Janu- <br />ary 29 they had given an extensiun of six months to the owner of Odd Pel- <br />lows Ilall, htr. Manlcy, in order for. him to rchabilitai:c lhe building. Also <br />instructions were given for him to board up tLe building and mal:e it secure <br />immediately. Many complaints had Ueen coming in regarding vandalism and <br />people in the bui.lding, and as of June 19, the bui.lding was c.ompletely <br />vandalized and open to the public. He said they were going to ask for the <br />Council to abate the building at one of the L-irst meetings in July, but <br />since then a John Perguson of Seattle had called and said he was buying <br />the property and would like time to bring the building up to cod�. <br />After considerable discussion President Kinch asked that a letter be given <br />to Mr. Ferguson stating exactly what would have to be done to bring this <br />building up to code so that he was aware of the cost involved. <br />On motion the meeting recesse3 into executive session at 4:15 P.M. <br />, <br />�,'�; �c�_ L::�c. ���._.. �,'�c,l 'c-'.' . <br />
