I have attached a sketch to show what measures were discussed in order to prevent surface water runoff from entering your driveway from the Atkins property. These items include the following: • Installing an asphalt berm along the north and east side of the existing asphalt driveway. • Installing a yard drain at the northeast comer of the driveway and fortning asphalt channel around the basin to divert water into the bnsin. • Connecting the newly installed piping into the existing drain line near the southeast comer of the property. • Providing an overlay of gravel on a portion of the Anderson driveway as remediation. • installing a trench drain along the north sidt of the gravel boat drive area. .. These items appear to be a reasonable solution to eliminating the runoff. It is my understanding that Jeff is prepared to move ahead with this work in a timely manner in order to minimize impacu to your drivewuy. Please note that some rutting at the lower end of your driveway may occur due to reinfall onto the driveway itself. Also, consider that any additional traffic on tl�e driveway will increase the need for more &equent maintenance. If you have further questions, please contact me at (425) 257-8815.
