The footings will consist of a <br />thickened slab. we understand that the perimeter footings will <br />bear on the top of an ecology block wall stacked two (2) high. <br />We understand that the area inside the ecology block perimeter was <br />backfilled to the bottom of slab elevation using fill consisting of <br />gray sand screenings. sill was placed against the outside of the <br />ecology blocks as well. The north, west and south sides of the <br />proposed building were backfilled to the top of the second row of <br />ecology blocks. The east side was back filled to the bottom of the <br />second row, leaving most of the second row exposed. The fill <br />appeared to be very firm and was non -yielding beneath the tires of <br />a bnckhoe. In -place density tests were performed in two (2) <br />locations within the building area.
