In <br />our discussion of this structure, it became clear that we <br />should have a housing inspection of the inhabited unit at <br />the subject address since our last indication in the file is <br />that the upstairs was uninhabitable. <br />The property owner, Craig Van Sant, has had a building in- <br />spector on the premises and has obtained permits to install <br />a garage door, two units heaters, reroof, and remove a <br />chimney and woodstove stacks. We still need to document <br />that the housing conditions are safe for habitation of the <br />one occupied unit. <br />The employees on the property are cooperative and the owner, <br />Mrs. Van Sant knows that we need this inspection and has <br />agreed to allow it. <br />Please forward me a copy of the results as I will need to <br />include it in the staff report for the appeal. <br />cc: Jim Hanson <br />Gerry Ervine <br />Thanks, <br />
