REPAIR SPECIFICATIONS AND LIST OP WORR TO BE BID <br />Address; 4�� �� �� <br />Paqe 3 e.f 12 <br />Install 1/2" CDX roof sheathing over rafters. install <br />15/16" 303 siding, T1-11, 4" groove pattern, horizontal <br />application, on all siding, including inside of deck <br />wall at second floor. Apply directly to studs using <br />galvanized sidinq nails. Caulk all joints not <br />shiplapped. Trim all corners with 1 x 4 cedar. Use <br />11/32" 303 siding, ungrooved, at soffit areas over doors <br />at ficst and second floors. install 1 x 6 cedar barge <br />board trim at gable end. Install 3/4" ACX plywood floor <br />at deck at second floor. Shim flooring such that floor <br />in closet of southeast bedroom is flush with existing <br />flooring and exterioc deckinq : slope to scuppers. All <br />joints : rest on framing members. Install 2 x 2 cant <br />strip at perimeter of upstairs exteriar decking. <br />install gable end vent to gable end of addition, trimmed <br />out with 1 x 2 cedar. Install galvanized metal scuppers <br />at two locations as shown, caulk seams. <br />Cut openings in existing wall of house upstairs for <br />closet door and kitchen door as shown. Frame headers <br />and studs as nece�sary. Install framing for doors from <br />addition to exterior. Znstall 2 x 6 cedac rail on <br />upstairs porch wall, (36" above deck). <br />3. Exterior Siding <br />east side. Replace <br />removed to match <br />venting at top of <br />scrape and paint. <br />$ �ZOQ.�o <br />Replace bellyboard trim on south and <br />siding on north side where door was <br />existing siding. Install birdblock <br />walls under eaves. Owner will wash, <br />s '�2a.°° <br />4. Structural Repairs Tear out stairs between downstaics <br />and upstairs floors complete. Tear out railing <br />upstairs. install new floor joists, 2 x 8's, across <br />openinq. Walls around stairwell downstairs cemain. <br />Install new 3/4" flooring over joists to match� level of <br />adjacent flooring. install studs and paneling over <br />opening to living room downstairs and owner has matching <br />paneling. Reframe opening to kitchens on both floors to <br />accommodate 5' 0" bypass doors to stairwell areas, (to <br />become laundry areas). install new 2 x 4 stud walls as <br />shown upstairs around future laundry area. <br />Tear out through floor vent above existin7 gas furnace. <br />Teas out ceilinq of upstairs living room. Re-frame and <br />re-flooc opening for solid bearing as necessary. <br />Teac out beam on ceiling of downstairs bathroom. Scab <br />in new joists, 2 x 8's, along existing joists complete. <br />Repair framing as necessary due to remoyal of chimney. <br />Tear out and install new walls throughout as shown in <br />drawings, 2 x 4 studs, headers to code. New walls are <br />shown as cross-hatched; wall to F,� removed as shown as <br />dotted lines. <br />s 1350,'O <br />
