Russell presided; h1r. Wilson, Mr. Zook, and the new member Mr. <br />Hoagland taere present. Iiarry Kristilnseit. <br />Mr. Russell announced that two items on the agenda would not be heard <br />at this time. They are: <br />1. Item 3, K& EI Enterprises regarding yard setbacY.s in !h� <br />vicinity of Casino Road and 20th Ave. W., south of Stace <br />Highway 526. <br />2. Item 8, Jack W. Greenleaf regaruing the conversion of a <br />building at 1918 Everett nve. ar.d tne off street parking <br />limitations. <br />Under old business, a t�ring �uas held on the application of Ronald <br />Wold, 6119 Commercial P. �., Everett, WA, 98203for a variance from <br />Section 19.92.090 of the Everett Municipal Code, Yards, Paragrapli A <br />for permission to add a two car garage to the rear of ttie existing <br />residence and be able to build to within two and one half (2�) feet <br />from the side property line rather than the code requirement of ten <br />(10) feet from the side property line on a corner lot. <br />Le9a1 Descri.ption: Lots 17 and 18, Block 11, Plat of Pinehurst <br />Division "n" _ <br />Address: 6119 Commerci.,11 <br />Zoning: R-2 Single Family High Density Residence <br />Mr. Doug Coldart, a building contractor, represented•Mr. Wold and <br />stated that Commercial F.venue is a wide street and their request for <br />2� feet from the property line is only for the Uack corner portion <br />of the property, <br />Some uf i:he neigl�bors were concerned about the effect this proposed <br />addition �vould have ou their property. Tl�ese .questions �rere resolved <br />by review and discussion. <br />Celia Strong of Lhe city's Public Works Dept. made the following <br />statements: . <br />1. 62nd Street is fifty feet wide, thirty t�vo feet of asphalt <br />paving and the balance for curbs and sidewalks when they <br />are ndded in the future. <br />2. Sidewallcs sind curUs will be needed if the pro�vsedaddition <br />nmounts to more than fifty percent of the value of the <br />existing residence. <br />
