Foundation Work See 'drawings for location and design <br />of area wells. Excavate soil away irom house at each <br />area well and dig trench for drainage system. The <br />Contraetor . responsible foc providing all apprcpriate <br />protections of persons and property on the site <br />throughout the construction. Bases of area wells : rest <br />on undisturbed soil. <br />Using concrete saw, cut opening cor new windows for <br />bedrooms as shown in drawings. Provide 4 x 6 header, <br />D.F. $1, over openir.g, supported and anchored to code. <br />Drainaae <br />Install washed gravel, uniformly graded, as follows: 4" <br />at base of area wells, 4" one each side of drain pipe in <br />trench for drain tile, .an2 24" x 24" x 24" at drywells <br />at ends of drain tile. Install 4" flexible perforated <br />drain tile from aiea well drains to drywells. In:•a11 <br />drains with metal grate in area wells, tied into drain <br />tile. Drain tile to slope from area we11s to dry <br />wells.
