The City has ignored the city of Lowell in the past. <br />2. The local residents like being a small community <br />and there is no fire station or oost office in <br />Lowell at this time. � <br />3 <br />4 <br />There is traffic congestion now and the area is <br />not designed for a great deal of increased building. <br />Tlie area has been rejected by City Council for a <br />zoning change. <br />Mr.. Russell made the comment at this time that it is difficult <br />fer the Hoard to rule against the R-2 Single Family tiigh Density <br />Residence zoning and the usage that the zoning per.nits. It is <br />difficult to control saturation. <br />There were no further comments from the audience. <br />After vi.sually viewing the subject property and considering all <br />the facts and testimony, it was moved by Mr. Hoagland, sec.onded <br />by Mr. Zook and unanimuusly carried to grant the applicant's <br />request as it meets all the requirements of Section 19.70.060 <br />of the Everett l4unicipal Code, Paragraphs 1, 2, 3, and 4. <br />A hearing was held on the application of John E. Hughes, 2109 - <br />19th Street, Everett, Washington, for a variance from Section <br />19.42.040 of the Everett Municipal Code, Yards, Paragraph A, <br />Corner Lots, for permission t� construct a dental clinic and <br />be able to build to within three (3) feet of the side proPerty <br />line rather than the code requirement of ten (10) feet from the <br />side property line for a corner lot. <br />Legal Description: Lots 17-20 and ten <br />35th Street, IIlock <br />Everett Div.
