I OF EVERETT - SOARD OF AL_JSTMENT <br />MINUTES <br />May 7, 1979 <br />The regular meeting of the Everett Board u£ Adjustment was held at <br />7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. <br />Mr. Russell presided;`Mr. Zook, Mr. Wilson and M=. Black were present. <br />Mr. Kristiansen •vas absent. <br />After a thirty-day postponement, a hearing was held on the application <br />of Jack Johnston, 2802 Hewitt Avenue, Everett, Washington 98201 for <br />a variance from Section 19.40.050 of the Everett Municipal Code. <br />Landscaping and Su:•facing, Paragraph B for permission to asphalt an <br />area of City property located at the northwest corner of the site <br />which is located on the Southeast corner of Hewitt and Cedar, that <br />was designated as a la�dscaping area in lieu of the landscaping strip <br />on private property. <br />Legal Description: Lot S, Block 694, Swalwells 2nd addition <br />Address: 2802 Hewitt <br />Zoning: C-1 General Commercial <br />Mr. Johnson represented himself and reaffirmed he <br />the aesthetics of the area and to be able to do as <br />has done. <br />There was no opposition from the audience. <br />wishes to improve <br />his competition <br />AftPr visually viewing the subject property and hearing all the facts, <br />it was moved by Mr. Black, seconded by Dir. Zook and unanimously carried <br />to deny the applicant's request as no hardship was shown.
