No. 794-3G <br />Craig Bunney Construction <br />Page 3 <br />Foundation stabilization should be performed subsequent to adequate <br />dewatering by the interceptor drain. We sugqest the use of footing <br />trench excavations and replacement utilizing enqineered structural <br />fill. The footing trench excavations should be performed into the <br />natural silts and at least two feet below bo�`.tom of footing ele�•ation. <br />Replacement material should consist of yranLlar pit run type soils, <br />placed in eight (8) inch maximum lifts and comqacte. io 95B of <br />ASTM D-1557. Footing drains and roof draids should be'perfurmed ! <br />such that saturation of the foundation soils doee. not occur. <br />Slab-on-grade should be placed upon structural fill consisting of. <br />material and conforming to specifications as stated above. <br />Maximum allowable soil pressure of 2,000 PSF is available utilizing <br />the above stabilization procedures. Total and differential settle- <br />ments should be less than three-fourths (3/4) inch across the site. <br />Special Notes: <br />We suggest special inspection be performed to insure comp.liance <br />with recommendations as presented and to insure a satisfactor'y <br />development. <br />Although we do expect the c�bserved site soil conditions and dis- <br />tributions to reflect our findings, some variations are expected. <br />Should conditions other than those discussed herein be enco�ntered, <br />the soils engineer should be contacted for review and comment. <br />
