Group R1 occupancies over 3,000 square feet shall be equipped with an automatic fire <br /> detection system (fire alarm system) per City Ordinance 1902-92. <br /> �. Justifying test data (Gypsum Association, UL Report, etc.) in conformance with Section <br /> 107 shall be provided or an ICBO evaluation report should be specified for: <br /> A.The floor/ceiling assembiy behveen units <br /> B. The occupancy separation wall between the units and the gnrage <br /> C. The wall assembly between units <br /> ✓4. Plans shall conform with Chapter 5,Table 5-B for occupancy separations. The wall <br /> between the garage and the units must be one hour rated with one hour rated openings on <br /> the 2nd and lst floors. <br /> �5. Vertical occuPancy separations shall extend through underfloor and attic areas, including <br /> areas wUere fire-res�stive ceilings are specified. <br /> ✓6. Draftstop shall be defined on the plans. Location and materials shall comply with Section <br /> 2516(�. A draftstop is reyuired above the unit separation walls. <br /> ✓7.
