The underlying soils werc sandy loam in texture and <br /> 2.SY 3/2 to33 in color. <br /> F�n tion and Val��of h p� ��� W �� nd <br /> Typical functions for wetland include water quality benefits, storm water detendon benofits, and wildlife <br /> benefits. This wetland lies within one half mile of Possession Sound with no other weUand or stream <br /> systems between the site and the Sound. In this position in the landscape then can be no meazurable <br /> water quality or storm water retention benofit to Possessions Sound dee to the great size of the Sound as <br /> compared to the minimal siu of the wetland. Wildlife benefits aze eztrcmely limited due to surzounding <br /> urbanization,minimal siu of the system and lack of divecsity of vegetation. <br /> Recommendations <br /> This wetland is exempt from rcgulation in the City of Everctt. Same type French dcainage system should <br /> be installed to catch surFace and subsurface flows from the surrounding lawns and yards and from the <br /> impervious surfaces associated the proposed singl�: family rcsidence.
