This wetland lies within one half mile of Possession Sound with no other wetland or sVeam
systems between the site and the Sound. In this position in the landscape there can be no measurable
warer quality or storm water re[ention benefit to Possessions Sound due to the great size of the Sound as
compared to the minimal size of the wet(and. Wildlife benefits are extremely limited due to surtounding
urbanization, minimal size of the system and lack of diversity of vegetation.
Recommendatione
This wetland is exempt from regulation in the City of Everett. Some type French drainage system should
be installed to catch surface and subsurface flows from the surtounding lawns and yards and from the
impervious surfaces associated the proposed single family residence. This drain should be attached to the
existing storm drainage system.
Call if you have questions or commen[s.
Cordially,
lG.
