Water stiould not be allo�ved to stand in any area where structures are to be constructea. 5.6 Construction Monitoring It is recommended thc� PSI ba retained to examine and identify soil exposures created durin3 project excavations in order to v�rify that soil conditions are as anticipated. We further recommend that any structural fills be observed and tested by our representative in order to evaluate the thoroughness and unifomity of their compaction. If possible, samples of fill materials should be submitted to our laboratory for evaluation prior to placement of fills on site (at least one week in advance of starting fill operations). Costs for the recommendad observat�nns during construction are beyond the scope of this current consultation. If PSI is not retained to perform these functions, PSI will not be responsible for the impact of those canditions on the project.
