P�rntit Counter <br /> This engineerin� report presents the residts of a geotechnical assessment of the <br /> Leese residence at 530 View Ridge Drive, Evcrett, Washington. This assessment was <br /> necessitated by owner concerns mgarding the proposed new addition and existi�ig <br /> foundation settlements. <br /> References: • Proposed new addition plans by Sleve L Leitzke, Architect. <br /> • Project Phoros (attached). <br /> Assessment: <br /> The existing residence.o_ccupies a sloping lot (see photos) that varies in steepness <br /> from 15 to 40 percent. <br /> A new kitchen/family room addilion i's proposed to the west of the existing <br /> residence (See architect's plans). In assessing the probable (oundation design for the new <br /> addition, several factors were censidered: <br /> • Exisling residence per(ormancc <br /> • Over�ll property slope <br /> • Drainage issues � ' <br /> • Proximiry to any slope cuts or retaining �valls. <br /> The rnsidence reveals several occurrences o( seltlemenls by concrete cracking and:. <br /> brickwofk shifting.
