The percentage of particles passing
the No. 200 sfeve should be measured trom that portion of soil passing tha three-quarter-
inch sieve. 'i'he on•site soils are suitable for structural fill. Howeer, the sands can be
diHicult to compact due to their grain-size distributlon.
LLMIL[ATIONS
The analyses, conclusions, and recommendations conteined in this report are based on site
conditions as they existed at the time of our expioratior: and assume tFiat the soils encoun-
tered in the test pits are representative of subsurfece conditions on the site. If the
subsurface conditions encountered during construction are significantly ditterent from those
observed in our explorations, we should be advised at once so that we can review these
conditions and reconsider our recommendations where necessary.
Tliis report has been prepared for the exclusive use of Thomas Kelly and fiis '
representatives tor specific application to this proJact and site. Our recommendations and
conclusions are based on observed site materfds, and selective laboratory testinc and
engineering analyses. Our conclusions and recommendations are professional opinions
derived fn accordance wi,h current standards of practice within the scope of our services
and within budget and time constraints.
