r. <br /> SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 2 <br /> To <br /> PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br /> This agreement entered into this day of April, 2007, by and between the City of <br /> Everett, a municipal corporation under the laws of the State of Washington (City) and URS <br /> (Contractor). <br /> Witneseth: <br /> Whereas the City and Contractor entered into an agreement on September 25, 2006, entitled <br /> "Professional Services Agreement" (Agreement) between the City of Everett and URS, to provide <br /> engineering services for the pre-design of the South End Interceptor— North Segment 36-in <br /> Sewer Line Protection and on November 7, 2006 amended the agreement by Supplemental <br /> Agreement No. 1 to provide design services for the South End Interceptor North Segment 36-in <br /> Sewer Line Protection Project. <br /> Whereas the City and Contractor desire to supplement the Agreement for the purpose of <br /> providing engineering support services during the construction of the sewer line protection <br /> project. <br /> Now therefore, the City and Contractor do mutually agree as follows: <br /> All provisions in the Agreement shall remain in effect except as expressly modified by this <br /> supplement. The changes to the Agreement are described as follows: <br /> Amend the previous Exhibit A, Scope of Work, by adding: "Exhibit A-1 Engineering Support <br /> for the South End Interceptor— North Segment 36-Inch Sewer Line Protection — <br /> Construction". <br /> Amend the previous Exhibit B, Compensation, by adding "Exhibit B-1" which includes an <br /> estimated Project Cost Summary by task for the additional engineering services. <br /> Modify Paragraph 4. Compensation, subparagraph D, which describes the maximum total <br /> compensation, by deleting the existing sentence and replacing with the following sentence: <br /> "Total compensation, including all services and expenses, shall not exceed a <br /> maximum of Ninety One thousand Three hundred Dollars ($91,300)."This amounts <br /> town increase of$40,000. <br /> 23 <br /> 1 of 2 <br />
