ADDITION TO AN EXISTING CHURCH <br />2801 VIRGINIA AVENUE <br />Access - The Uniform Fire Code requires [hat all new structures shall provide Fire DeparUnent <br />access roads to within 150 feet of all portions of the ground floor. Fire Department access <br />roads (Fire Lanes) shall provide a minimum of 20 feet in width of unobstructed, all-season <br />driving surface with a minimum clear height of 13'6". Fire Lanes wiil be posted and <br />maintained as required by the Fire Department. <br />Access - O.K. as shown on the site plan reviewed. <br />3. Hydrants - One available hydrant is required. It shali be located within 200 driving feet but no <br />closer than 50 feet of every structure. Location of th� hydrant shall be approved by the Fire <br />Marshal. <br />4. Fire Hvdrants - Locations as shown on the site plan are acceptable. <br />Based upon 6,646 square feet of Type V-N, sprinklered construction, the 6re flow requirement <br />is 1,500 gpm. <br />6. Portable Fire Protection - A portable fire extinguisher with a minimum U.L. rating of 2-A <br />shall be provided within 75 feet of travel on all floors of each building during construction and <br />prior to occupancy. <br />7. Fire Alarm System - An approved automatic fire detection system shall be provided as <br />required by City Ordinance No. 1902-92, Chapter 16.76, of the Everett Municipal Code. <br />Plans for such system shall be submitted to the Fire Marshal for teview and approval prior to <br />installation. Submittal shall include cut sheets of all equipment intended for use. Appropriatr. <br />trip tests, witnessed by a Fire Depattment inspector, shall be performed, along with a <br />certificate of completion, prior to final acceptance of the system. <br />Fire alarm systems shall be installed according to NFPA Standard 72. <br />Fire alamt systems shall be installed under petmit of the City of Everett Building Department. <br />Electrical inspections and approval are required prior ro calling for acceptance tests.
