5. <br />[:� <br />b. A landscape strip a minimum of 5 feet wide must be provided along the east <br />property line. This area shall be planted with Type III landscaping. <br />When required by Municipal Code or Ordinance, fire alarm systems shall be <br />installed and tested according to Uniform Fire Code and NFPA standards. Plans <br />shall be submitted to tha City of Everett Building Department. <br />Dased upon 6,646 square feet of Type V-N, sprinklered construction, the fire flow <br />requirement is 1,500 GPM. <br />7. A portable fire eMinguisher with a minimum U.L. rating of 2-A shall be provided <br />within 75 feet of travel on all floors of the building during construction and prior to <br />occupancy. <br />8. An approved automatic fire detection system shall be provided as required by City <br />Ordinance No. 1902-92, Chapter 16.76 of the Everett Municipal Code. Plans for <br />such a system shall be submitted to the Fire Marshal for review and approval prior <br />to installation. Fire Suooression (Sorinklerl Svstem - An approved automatic fire suppression <br />system shall be provided as required by City Ordinance No. 1902-92. Plans for <br />such a system shall be submitted ko the Building Department and Everett Fire <br />Department for examination and approval. Such plans shall include plans for the <br />underground mains that will supply the sprinkler system. <br />Above ground sprinkler piping shall be hydrostatically tested as established in <br />NFPA standard 13. Underground piping shall be hydrostatically tested and flushed <br />as established in NFPA Standard 24 for private fire mains. All such tests shall be <br />witnes�ed by a Fire Department inspector. Please call 259-8710 to make an <br />appointment for an inspection. <br />Contractors materials and test certificates shall be submitted to the Everett Fire <br />Department prior to issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy. <br />10. Fire SafeN - Fire safety practices during construction shall be in cornpliance with <br />Article 87 of the Uniform Fire Code. <br />11. Trash�io� _ Dumpsters over 1.5 cubic yards capacity shall be located a <br />minimum of 5 feet from the building [UFC 11.302(b), 1991 Editian]. <br />Note: The location of the dumpster is not clear from the information in the <br />Applicanfs site plan. <br />� <br />� <br />
