Pro'eKI Goals <br />The goal of this restoration plan shall he the establishment of a vigorous <br />wetland buffer with 80% survival of planted trees and shrubs with nn more <br />than 25% non-native plants, within five years, for the benefit of the <br />associated intermittent stream and wetland. <br />Monitoring and —IffiPtChnn Schedule <br />1. Completion Inspection - Upon completion of the restoration project a;: <br />inspection by Weiland Resources, Inc. will he made to determine plan <br />compliance. A report will he supplied to the City of Everett regarding <br />the completeness of the project. Final inspection for occupancy of the <br />house will not he approved until this restoration project is complete as <br />designed. <br />2. Condition monitoring of the restoration plantings by Weiland <br />Resources. Inc. will be done in the fall of each successive year for five <br />years. Reports as to the condition of the plantings will he supplied to <br />the City of Everett in October or each year. <br />3. Final inspection shall occur five years after completion of this <br />restoration project. Welland Resources, Inc, shall prepare a report as to <br />the success of this project. Success is defined as 80% survival of the <br />planted trees and shrubs in the restoration area with less than 25% of <br />the planting area consisting of non-native species. <br />4. The owner of this property or any subsequent owners shall grant access <br />of this property for the purpose of inspection to the City of Everett anc <br />the designated consulting wetland ecologist. <br />�gnlin .nCv Plstng <br />If during any of the inspections, 20% of the plants are severely stressed, or it <br />appears 20% may not survive, additional plantings of the same species may be <br />added to the restoration area. If this situation persists into the next inspection, <br />a meeting with the City of Everett, the property owner and Wetland Resources, <br />Inc. will he scheduled to decide upon contingency plans. Elements of a <br />contingency plan may include, but will not he limited to: mulching, <br />replanting with larger plant material, different species, fertilization, soil <br />amendments, irrigation and/or continued weed control. <br />A.S ranSS—Barcdint <br />The success of <br />this <br />project will he assurer/ by an assignment <br />of funds in the <br />and the planting <br />amount of 100% <br />of <br />fair <br />market value <br />for the plant materials <br />is to <br />be 770.00.
