Roberts
Director
The Everett Historical Commission received the proposal to place a sidewalk entry
canopy at the entrance to the Passport Restaurant at the Monte Cristo. Because
the Monte Cristo is on the Everett Register of Historic Places and has received
Special Valuation for historic preservation, any changes to the building must be
reviewed by the Historical Commission.
The Commission reviewed the plans for a sidewalk entry canopy for the Passport
Restaurant. This entryway is proposed as a way to prevent rain and wind from
entering the building. The awning will have a steel frame that will be attached
only to the wood window framework. There wili be no attachments to the
architectural cast concrete element.
The Historical Commission spproved the canopy entry as presented.
Sincerely,
tV .
ristin Ravetz c`./
Historical Preservation Specialist
CITY OF EVERETT
2930 Wetmore Avenue, Suite 100 • Everett, WA 98201 •(206) 259-8731 • Fax (206; 259-8742 • Scan: 723-873
