H <br />EXCEPT the East 35 feet thereof; <br />HH70a <br />Situated <br />in the City of Everett, County of Snohomish. State of Washington. <br />'n y <br />I. <br />On January 13, 1992 the City of Everett issued a Notice and Order which <br />q <br />required the repair or demolition of the building situated on the <br />x <br />t+7 O <br />above -described property. <br />C <br />HO <br />II. <br />In the Appeal from the Notice and Order, which Appeal was dated <br />0 <br />n. n <br />February 14, 1992, it was stated "Appellant has not at this time made a <br />decision as to whether the building will be repaired or demolished". <br />H <br />Further "Appellant is now in the process of boarding up the building". <br />HH <br />[a <br />III. <br />The City of Everett hereby grants an extension of six months from the <br />H <br />[a <br />date of this order to the owners of the property to determine if the <br />❑❑A � <br />building shall be repaired in accordance with the current Uniform <br />y <br />Building Code or to demolish the building. <br />y <br />C rn <br />IV. <br />If the owners elect to demolish the building at the end of the six <br />month extension, all required permits shall be secured therefore within <br />thirty (30) days of the expiration of the six month extension. <br />J <br />' <br />V. <br />If the owners elect to repair the building at the end of the six month <br />C <br />extension, all repair work shall be in accordance with the current <br />must be secured <br />Uniform Building Code, and all required permits <br />therefore, and the work physically commenced within sixty (60) days of <br />the expiration of the six month extension. All work must be completed <br />C:) <br />within ninety (90) days of the exp`-ration of the six month extension. <br />VI. <br />During the six months extension and until such a time as the building <br />is repaired or demolished in accordance with paragraphs IV. and V <br />above, the building shall be secured in accordance with the following <br />requirements of City of Everett Ordinance No. 1732-90: <br />A. All vacant buildings shall be closed to unauthorized entry <br />according to the following standards: <br />L <br />a. All windows or glazed openings shall be protected by intact <br />glazing. All windows or glazed openings, the sills of which are <br />located ten (10) feet or less above grade, stairway, landing, ramp, <br />( <br />porch, roof, or other similarly accessible area, shall provide <br />to or greater than that of a solid sheet <br />resistance to entry equivalent <br />- <br />of one quarter (1/4) inch plywood, painted to protect it from the <br />elements, cut to fit the opening, and securely nailed using 6D <br />galvanized nails spaced not more than nine (9) inches or center. <br />
