Box 5397, Everett, stated that the <br /> builder had assumed the setback was 20 feet. The house would still be 20 "- <br /> feet from the curb. His neighbor has discovered that if the house were built , <br /> to Code (i.e. , 55 feet from the centerline of the right-of-way) it would block <br /> most of his view from his family room. ThPrefore, in order to acco�odate this <br /> neighbor, Mr. Carpenter applied for this variance. <br /> �'`:;' . <br /> Gordon Davis, a neighbor who also lives on Harbor Lane, stated that he is <br /> completely in favor of this variance because it makes sense. <br /> Motion: Ramona Hoylan offered a moticn to grant the motion as recommended by <br /> Staff. Marie Sullivan seconded the motion. <br /> Vote: Unanimou� in favor of granting the variance. <br /> ITEM 5: <br /> Applicant: Dale A. and Joyce Lyski <br /> 1930 Rucker <br /> Everett, Washington 98201 <br /> Project Location: 1430 Rucker 9Le <br /> 2oning: R-2 <br /> Variance Requested: Variance from E.M.C. 19.16.050(B) to allow construction <br /> of a ten-foot by twelve-fcot addition to an existing <br /> single family residence. Said addition would be ::even <br /> feet from the south side lot line instead of the L-en feet <br /> required by Code. <br /> The existing structure is nonconforming as to 9ross <br /> floor area ratio at .52 and the addition will increase <br /> the gross floor area ratio to .54 instead of the .35 <br /> allowed by Code. <br />
