November 26, 1975 <br />Ken Callahant, Plans Examiner <br />Building Inspection Dept. <br />City of Everett <br />Everett Washington 98201 <br />REFERENCE: RICARDO'S MEXICAN DINING, BUILDING <br />PERMIT APPROVAL <br />Dear Mr. Callahan: <br />In response to your letter of corrections for <br />compliance with the U.B.C. for Ricardo's, I would <br />like to follow with these comments: <br />a. The contractor and owner shall be made aware of <br />the provisions numbered 1, 2, and 3, and shall <br />be complied with. <br />b. Item #4 in regards to 1 hour construction on the <br />south wall is already complied with as 5/8" <br />fire resistive gypsun. board shall be applied <br />under ti.e exterior sheathing. <br />C. In item #5, water resistive gypsum board shall be <br />used in Toilets 16, 10 and 11. <br />d. The mechanical contractor is substantiating the <br />amount of fresh air intake for this heatina system <br />and will sh,w compliance of item 47. <br />e. Handrails will be mounted between 30" and 34" <br />above the tread as noted in item #8. <br />f. In place of panic hardware, I will havo the owner <br />place a sign by both non -entrance exit doors <br />statina in 1" letters, "This door must remain <br />unlocked during business hours. A key locking <br />device will be used in reference to item #9. <br />g. Items #10 and #11 will be complied with and <br />coordinated with the contractor. <br />Champion/Turner, Partnership <br />
