This proposal enhances the aesthetics of the facility by shifting signage from the lesser -used commercial street to Rucker Avenue, the dominant commercial street in the area. Conclusions: The proposed signs and logo promote identification of the company. They are more in scale with the building size and setback than the signs permitted in the Zoning Code. 3. Conclusions: If there are natural views, the views will not be obstructed by the additional signs. 4. The two additional signs on the existing freestanding signs will increase the amount to 78 square feet each. Conclusions: 'rhe amount of proposed freestanding signage is 69 square feet less than allowed by the zoning code. DECISION: The Planning Director approves Tube Art's request to install two 24 square feet, BECU signs and two 6 square feet freestanding signs, subject to the following conditions: The new signs must receive appropriate sign permits. The Planning Director's decision may be appealed.
