NOTICE OF FINAL <br />MITIGATED DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGN <br />SEPA # 02-038 <br />Safeway #1484 Fueling Facility <br />March 2, 2005 <br />Description of Proposal: The Applicant is proposing to construct a 432 square <br />foot kiosk, 4,365 square foot fueling canopy with five multi-product dispensers, <br />and two (2) 10,000 and one (1) 20,000 gallon underground fuel storage tanks. The <br />proposed retail fueling kiosk will be manned between the hours of 8 AM and 1Q <br />PM but the "pay at the pump" option will be available 24 hours a day. The fueling <br />facility is for retail sales of gas and pre-packaged convenience items only. There <br />will be no serving of vehicles provided on this site with the exception of air and <br />water provided for customer convenience. Through the history of Safeway's <br />other fueling facilities, Safeway has found this facility to be similar to an Arco. <br />The walk-in-pay kiosk does have a 3-compartment sink for the use of cleaning the <br />soda/coffee equipment.
