A request for a one year extension of this Determination of Non -Significance may be made to the Planning Director prior to the expiration date DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSAL: The proposed action is the issuance of Building and Public Works permits to allow the construction of a 2,640 sq. ft. convenience store and 2-pump island gasoline service station with 3 underground gasoline storage tanks totaling 30,000 gallon capacity. Existing underground storage tanks totaling 12,000 gallon capacity will be removed and the ncles filled. PROPONENT: Time Oil Co. P.O. The listed requirements are placed in response to our review of this information: AGEVCIeS WITH JURISDICTION A Notice of Construction for the underground tanks must be obtained from the Puget Sound Air Pollution Control Authority prior to any work occurring on site. MITIGATION REQUIRED BY EXISTING CODES AND ORDINANCES 1. A fire hyrdrant is required within 200 driving feet but not closer than 50 feet of every structure. (Ordinance 493-73 and SEPA Public Services Policy) 2. Street improvements are required to include extension of the A-1 curb, gutter and sidewalk along the south property line and across the alley entrance. The power pole in the area of the new sidewalk to be constructed must be moved to behind the sidewalk. (Ordinance 555 and SEPA Transportation/Circulation Policies)
