At the time <br />of our field exploration, the foundation trenclies �vere excavated to below the <br />planned footina depths due to the presence of uncompacted fi1Ls and soft <br />natural soils. <br />We understand that the proposed strnctiire will he single-story witli <br />a design soil bearing value of 4000 pound� per square foot. <br />SCOPE <br />Tlie purposes of our reporL are to evaluate suUsurface soil conditions <br />on the site in order to develop recommendations for foundation and siaU-on- <br />grade support for the proposed structure. <br />1. Determination of the subsurface soil conditions and <br />possiUle groundwater by drilling four test borings at <br />the Uottom of tlie existing footing trencl�es. <br />2.
