5- The bathroom needs to be converted to American's with disability code. The way the door to the toilet room swings <br />needs to be changed so a person in a wheel chair can push the door open more easiiy from the hallway since the sterile <br />area sink and cabinet will be blocking their path. The door needs to push in, not pull out. The sink needs to be of a type <br />that a wheel chair can slide underneath and the person can get to the water controls. The toilet will need to be moved <br />closer to the door so a closet can be built on the far end of the room. Hand rails will need to be installed next to the <br />toilet for the ADA code. A plumber will know all about the ADA code. When finished the toilet room should be about <br />8' by 7.5'. <br />6- The closet in the toilet room will be used to house an air compressor and a central vacuum unit. The closet needs to <br />have ,ome type of sound proofing included to help keep the noise down that will be created by the compressor and the <br />vacuum. This closet will need to have a source of electricity for the vacuum and the compressor. There needs to be <br />some type of light switch to allow us to see. <br />7- The sterile area needs to be a 15" sink in a counter top over a cabinet approximately 5' wide that will span the width <br />of the hallwair. This is a standing height counter, 3'4" . There will be a cabinet over the sink to accommodate storage. <br />This area will require a 110 volt electrical service - a normal two prong outlet, one on each side, will suffic1% <br />8- GAS and ELECTRICAL and COMPRESSED AIR: Air lines for compressed air can be''/2" PVC ran from the <br />compressor closet to: two outlets at the workbench area of the lab, (same as for the gas nipples) and one outlet each for <br />each of the four clinic rooms. The larger clinic rooms will need the air line outlet at the sitting counter top areas and the <br />smaller clinic rooms will need the outlets positioned at the small desk areas. One gas supply located nearest the side <br />door is for a gas range, the other two are gas nipples for a lab bunsen burner. Gas and electrical service to the differing <br />areas is marked on the floor plan. <br />X 4 PLEX ELECTRIC, EXCEPT IN WAITING ROOM AND HALLWAY <br />O NATURAL GAS <br />O W/ X IN MIDDLE COMPRESSED AIR <br />T TELEPHONE <br />9- The reception room counter is a combination of two counters attached together. The tall counter top for patients to <br />lean on is 3' 6" high, 12' deep, approximately 9.5' feet long. This is attached to a sit down counter top for the <br />receptionist to work on that is the normal 26" deep, bathroom vanity height or approximately 2' 9" and 9.5' long,. The <br />receptionist must be able to sit and wheel freely under the length of the counter space. This counter will need electrical <br />service and telephone service. This counter must look professional for our patients. <br />10- TELEPHONE: Telephone service will be needed at the front desk and in the lab . <br />I I- The door into the lab and into the toilet room closet need to be 30' doors. <br />�/:o <br />
