INTRODUCTION <br />I This report presents the results of our geotechnical exploration for the proposEd <br />modification to the residence of Joel and Kathy Larsen at 832 Rucker Avenue in Everett, <br />� Washington. The location of the site is shown on the Vicinity Map on page A1 in the <br />Appendix of this report. The geotechnical explora:ion was performed by Otto Rosenau <br />& Associales, Inc. (ORA) to provide information or recommendations regarding: <br />( • seismic design considerations including liquefaction potential, <br />I. type, depth, and allowable bearing capacity of suitable foundation <br />systems with estimated settlements, <br />I . lateral earth pressures and friction coefficients, <br />. influence of groundwater on the development, <br />I . site preparation, and <br />. excavation slope considerations. <br />� Mr. Joel Larsen authorized our work on February 10, 2004 by signing and returning a <br />copy of ORA's proposal Number 04-060, dated January 30, 2004. <br />�t <br />
