GRUBBING, STRIPPING, ANll OVEREXCAVATION <br />A. <br />B <br />C. <br />Ateas [o be graded shall be s[ripped and grubbed of all <br />vegecation, debtis, topsoil, and sof[ ot organic-rich <br />near surface soils. <br />Trees ot [ree trunks shall be overtvrned so that [he <br />major part of their toot systems are temoved. <br />Drivevay areas and station yard shall be excavated [o a <br />minimum depth of one (1) foot beloW finished grade or <br />lowet if s[ripping requiremen[s so dic[ate. <br />3. STATION SUBSASE <br />A. After stripping and exca�ation, areas to be filled <br />shall be proof rolled using heavy cons[ruction <br />equipment. A representative of Puge[ Power shall be <br />ptesent during proof rolling, and any areas of soft, <br />Wet, or "Weaving" soil shall be temoved and replaced <br />vith properly compacted granular material to his <br />satisfac[Son.
