MASOI'1RY <br />A. General: Conform to requirements of the Unifocm Building Code <br />(l�test) any other local building codes. <br />B. Waterproofing Admixture: Master Builders "Cmicron Mortar- <br />proofing" to be used according to manuf<�cturer'sinstructions. <br />C. Mortar for all masonry work shall conforn to ASTM C270 <br />(J.atest) Type S. <br />D. Hollow load bearing concrete masonry units (C.M.U.) shall <br />confurm to requirements of ASTM C90 (latest) Grade N-I and <br />shall measure 8 x 8 x 16. Lay units in running bond, 3/8" <br />joint, exterior and interior joint - tooled. <br />k;. Anchors: Yrovi_e as cequired and as detailed on drawings. <br />F. Reinforcing bars shall conform to ASTM A615 (latest), Grade <br />60. Lap splice 3f times the bar diameter unless otherwise <br />noted on the drawi�g. <br />G.
