As <br />early as 1964, you have stated that you noticed a <br />deterioration in water quality in the creek. Hoeing's <br />developmoe►I of its Hverett property did not begin until <br />mid-1966. <br />2. Oeotecbnial Reports <br />A number of geoteabnial investigations of the property <br />be" been made since 1946. The following is a summary <br />of the reports issued as a result of those <br />investigation. <br />A. Demos am Moore Report dated December e, 1966 - <br />Report of Site Inspection - lreudenburg Property <br />- powder Hill gulch <br />This reports states that retention of some of the fill <br />material between the house and the crook had bean <br />attempted by the placement of logo and timbers, cams of <br />which had failed at the Cana of this investigation. <br />According to the report, those failures were not recent. <br />The report states that the fill along portions of the <br />slope is obviously unstable and subject to movement. <br />The surface moils are generally loose and composed of <br />miscellaneous silty and granular materials. <br />The report notes that observation of the crook bad <br />indicated a fairly substantial flow of water carrying <br />soma silt and clay soil. The crook had boon observed to <br />carry as much as five-foot depth of water at this <br />location. <br />The report concludes that any erosion occurring as a <br />result of waters carried by the crook in Powder Mill <br />Gulch in the vicinity of the property was not <br />significantly endangering any portion of the property <br />Movements of the fill which are apparent are the lo9l.al <br />
