Due to unforeseen
financial problems coupled with bad weather, my project is taking much longer than
expected. Your records should However, indicate a ten week delay caused by the Everett
Street Departments project in front of my house. Where the City hired an outside firm to
make street improvements. While these improvements were under way, we encotmtered a
heretical down pour that sent all the road, storm, and up hill run-off into my new
foundation area. Leaving it un-buildable until the problem was solved. Consequently that
was just one of many delays attached to this project. Having limited fund on hand is the
largest hold up, although, this makes the project go slower, it allows me to do all the
work. I'm in hopes that all this is behind me now and that with an 180 day extension that
the project will proceed in a timely manner. I am including documentation to prove that
work even as slow as it may seem, is being done and completion is inevitable.
If you have any concerns or question my home phone number is (425)303-0860 or daily
work number is (425)3394270 please indicate your with the Public Works and a return
call will be placed when I'm available. Thank you for your cooperation.
Sincerely, A
4; J44'
Stephen Quimby
DEC 041997
CITY b0 EVERETT
Permit Services
