 , , .
I Legal Description: Tract 7, Block 3, Seaview Heights,
, Except the South 8 feet of the
West 150 feet thereof - 5117 Seaview Way.
Zoning: R-S Suburban Residential
Mr. Charles Chester, representing Mr. Forester made the
following statements:
'I 1. The property had been divided and tailored after the short
plat ordinance now pending before Council.
2. The privat road that is shown on the plat could become
a public dedi:.ated street if the city so desired.
Mr. . Lewis Bahls spoke against the proposed division of property
because:
1. There is a 15-foot easement for a road parallel to the
' proposed 30-foot road but it is to be used only by Lot 6.
 2. There would be other properties that would develop and
Seaview Way would not be able to handle the increased
traffic.

3. There would be an increased drainage problem.
Mr. Shockey stated that Mr. Compton [4inspear, 2322 Hillside Lane,
telephoned the Community Development Department to say he tvas
against the property segregation because of other developments
that would be encouraged and because he felt a decision on a
variance should be postponed until a short plat ordinance is
acted upon.
After considering all the facts and testimony it was moved by
D7r. Baird, seconded by Mr. Cronin an3 unanimously carried to
posipone the applicant's r.equest for 30 days to allow Cify
Council time to act on a short plat ordinance.
On motion the meeting adjourned at 8: 35 p.m.

Reid H. Shockey, Sec_etary
Board of. Adjustment
IZIiS/th:P-2
-3-
