Even though painted <br /> finishes are approved in kitchens , they are not too resistant to high <br /> wear and moisture (sheet A420-12 ,C) . <br /> b.All wall surfaces must be smooth, nonabsorbent , and easily cleanable- <br /> --especially in the food preparation, dishwashing, scullery, service, <br /> and .restro�m areas (A420-12,C) . <br /> 9. The kitchen concrete floor must be smooth with a� cove base. The <br /> concrete floor surfaces must be wel�sea�ed. <br /> 10. There are sufficien` floor sinks and flocr drains to accomodate all <br /> food-service equ�pment c:ith indirect drains (sheet A420-12 of C) . <br /> Only disposers , hat;d-washi_ng si— n��s , moP sinks , and scullery sink <br /> are served by dire:ct drains. <br /> 11. Your food-service designer' s layout plans and specifications were <br /> well detailed sr.d documenteri. <br /> 12. Th� �lan review was made from information you ?resented to our <br /> office. Therefore , should there be any major changes anu/or addi- <br /> tions to your layout plans and equipment specifi�:ations , you must <br /> notify the SnoHomish liealth District of the cl�anges. <br /> 13 . It should be pointed out that the health department approval of the <br /> finish installation (equipment and facilties) is subject to the final <br /> field inspection. Therefore , when ready , you should call for the <br /> final field inspection. However, the health department will make <br /> regular fi=1d checks of the construction. <br /> 14. In 1980, the Snohomish Health District' s Board of Health established <br /> a plan review charge for review of layout plans and specifications . <br /> The fee schedule is $25. 00 per hour to a maximum of $250.00. Your <br /> total review time exceeds ten hours . Therefore, there will be a <br /> $250. 00 charge.
