Standard Specifications: The "City of Everett Design and Consiruction <br /> Standards and Speci6ications," dated April 25, 1984, sholl apply unless <br /> modified herein. <br /> PART 2 - MATERIALS <br /> 2.01 DEDDING <br /> See Section 3.3. 13.1 for bedding materials. <br /> PART 3 - EXECUTION <br /> 3.01 DEDDING <br /> A. See City of [vereTt Standard Drawing No. 317 for typical irench section. <br /> B. When hedding material is used, the trench shai� be excavated 4 inches below <br /> ihe bottom of the pipe and filled up to pipe grade with granular bedding <br /> material. <br /> C. Where ro�k, hardpan, or other unyielding material is encountered, it shatl be <br /> removed below ihe bedding grade for a depih of at least 12 inches. The <br /> widih o( the exravation shall be one foot greater ihan ihe horizontaloutside <br /> diarneter of the pipe.
