Clearing Of Site: Specified in Section 02100. Remove irees, roots and <br /> brush, existing utilities or other sirucTures remaining, if encountered, <br /> except trees to remain as noted on site plens. <br /> 3.02 EXCAVATION <br /> A. General: Excavate to lines and grades necessary for proper consiruction of <br /> work and inspection of ihe various clossifications of ihe work. <br /> I. Excavate to natural soils with solid bearing, as judged by Special <br /> Inspector. The uniformity of The s�bgrade shall be checked by <br /> thorough proof-roiling with heavily loaded rubber-tired consiruciion <br /> equipment. <br /> B. De-wateriny: Provide temporary pumping equipment to keep excavations <br /> and construction free of water. Continuously remove water from whatever <br /> sources.
