See City of Everett Standard Drawinq No. 317 for typical trench section. <br /> B. When bedding material is used, the trench shall be excavated 4 inches below <br /> the bottom of the pipe and fil�ed up to pipe grade with granular bedding <br /> material. <br /> C. Where rock, hardpan, or otlier unyielding material is encounTered, it shall be <br /> removed below the bedding grade for a depih of ot !east 12 inches. The <br /> widih of ihe excavation shall be one foot greater than the horizontal outside <br /> diameter of ihe pipe.
