The site consists of the southem portion of the Narbeck Wetlands Educatian Pazk conteining the visito�s parking, restrooms, and educational facilities. The site is located on Seaway Boulevard, approximately 1-1/4 miles northeast of Snohomish Cow�ty Aicport in Everctt, Washington. The Vicinity Map, Figure 1, shows the location of the site. PURPOSE AND SCOPE The purpose of our study waz to investigate surface and subsurface conditions at the site in order to develop geo[echnical conclusions and rccommendations for coasWction ofa wetlands park facility. We proviously conducted a geotechnical invutigation at the site as part of a geotechnical evaluation of its feasibility Cor development. Our preliminary findings were presented in the refercnced letter. For that phase oP work, we excavated 11 test pits, four of which were located in the immediate vicinity of this . study area. � Our scope of work for this phaze of the project included conducting surface and subsurface - investigations at the site and preparing this rcpoR. Our subsur(ace investigation:onsisted of excavating four test pits at the site using a rubber-tired backhoe.
