We rernmmend that this report, in its entirety, be included <br /> in the project contract documents for the information of the contractor. <br /> CiTE GONDITTONS <br /> � �� <br /> The essentially rectangular property is about five hundred and twenty-five (525) by one <br /> hundred thirty-five (135) feet in plan dimension. The site is cunently a level, paved student <br /> parking lot. The asphalt concrete surface does not show any indication of distress associated <br /> with poor subsurface conditions. It only shows typical aging distresses. <br /> �11�.5�.� <br /> The site was explored by excavating four test pits at the approximate locations shown on <br /> Plate 2. Please refer to the Test Pit Logs, Plates 4 through 7, for a more detailed <br /> description of the conditions encountered at each location explored. A description of the <br /> field exploration methods and laboratory testing program is included in the appendix of this <br /> repon. <br /> D1S['ricclON aND RFCOMMENDATIONS <br /> General <br /> Based on the results of our study, it is evident the area of proposed development is <br /> underlain by a competent soil at relatively shallow depth (approximately two (2) feet) below <br /> existing ground surface. The structure can be supported on rnnventional continuous and <br /> individual spread footings which should bear on the competent native soil. Settlements are <br /> estimated to be of relatively small magnitude, and are e�ected to be within the structure's <br /> tolerable limiu. <br /> Earth ConsuHants, lnc. <br />
