RESOLUTION NO. 4745 <br /> A RESOLUTION accepting the design report of the Schematic Design Phase for <br /> Everett Station (Multi-Modal Transportation Center). <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council authorized a contract to be executed between the <br /> City and the design firm of Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Partnership on August 13, 1997, for <br /> Design and Construction Observation Services for the Everett Station Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, a Design Report and Revised Design Report for the Everett Station Project <br /> were prepared in July, 1998 and November, 1998, respectively; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Design Report and Revised Design Report contain the design principles, <br /> site configuration, estimated budget and schedule for the Everett Station Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, SEPA Addenda Numbers 1 and 2, evaluating the environmental impacts of <br /> Everett Station project changes, were published in July, 1998, and January, 1999; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett Station Project has completed the schematic design phase; and <br /> WHEREAS, the schematic design results have incorporated the project changes <br /> identified in SEPA Addenda Numbers 1 and2 and are set forth in a report prepared by <br /> Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Partnership dated March 11, 1999; and <br /> WHEREAS, the schematic design results have been reviewed by City staff; and <br /> WHEREAS, the schematic design results were presented to the general public at an Open <br /> House held on March 11, 1999, at the Everett Senior Center; and <br /> WHEREAS, a City Council workshop was held on the Everett Station Project on April <br /> 14, 1999; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT that: <br /> 1) The schematic design report dated March 11, 1999, is accepted and staff should use <br /> the schematic design report as the guideline for the design development phase of <br /> Everett Station. <br /> 1 <br />
