SCREENING OF SERVICE AREAS AND <br /> MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT <br /> INTENT: <br /> To provide a separation between service areas and pedestrian areas. <br /> STANDARDS: <br /> 15.a. All loading and trash collection areas shall be screened by a <br /> combination of masonry walls and plantings, <br /> 15.b. All garbage bins shall be equipped with rubber lids to reduce noise <br /> impacts on adjacent residential and other uses, <br /> 15.c. All mechanical equipment (such as air conditioning units, see sec <br /> 9.9.d., page 35 ) located on the ground shall be screened by a combination of <br /> masonry walls and plantings. Sound buffering should be used to reduce noise <br /> impacts, and <br /> 15.d.
