Gateway District: The Gateway district will provide an attractive, active <br /> and interesting edge to the development and is the gateway into the project <br /> area. <br /> Use — office / retail. <br /> 10.b. Craftsmen District: This is where marina support activity occurs. It is a <br /> light industrial area where boats are sold, moved, washed, worked on and <br /> stored. Travel lifts, air tools and other noise makers will be active during most of <br /> the working day. <br /> Use — all facets of commercial marine activity. <br /> 10.c. Captain's Walk District: This is a pedestrian oriented retail / office area <br /> which provides a pedestrian crossing along a north / south route. The crossing <br /> "path" will provide a connection between the south marina and north marina <br /> area / boat launch. The District also provides an east-west transition from the <br /> office / retail use in the Gateway District. <br /> Use — Retail, office, farmer's market. <br /> 10.d Wharf's Edge District: Characterized by quiet, high-end residential multi- <br /> family uses. Commercial / office activities are supportive to or compatible with <br /> the primary residential use. <br /> Use - Residential, office and commercial. <br /> 10.e. West End District: This is a waterfront area occupied by a hotel / <br /> meeting area, restaurant(s) and office / retail uses. <br /> Use — Commercial, retail and office. <br /> 10.f. Esplanade District: This is the public access area around the <br /> development site.
