A. Phased fare coordination, linked to the implementation of Sound Transit's <br /> regional express bus service, commuter rail, and light rail and the region's development <br /> of a"Smart Card" fare media; <br /> B. provide for sale, to Everett customers, as an option, the system of regional <br /> passes good, at face value, on any system in the region; <br /> C. provide that Everett Transit passes will be good, at face value, on any Sound <br /> Transit service; <br /> D. provide that Sound Transit cash fare transfers are valid for travel on Everett <br /> Transit. <br /> E. Use Sound Transit's Fare Integration Fund to provide a reimbursement of sixty- <br /> seven percent (67%), of an Everett Transit fare, for all transfers from Sound Transit <br /> service to Everett Transit when a regional pass is used as the fare media; <br /> F. Guarantee Everett Transit revenues from the sale of passes that shift from <br /> Everett Transit to regional passes,but are used primarily for travel on Everett Transit, and <br /> G. periodically review the regional fare coordination and transfer policies with <br /> adjustments as needed to respond to unanticipated impacts of these regional fare <br /> coordination and transfer policies upon revenues and the provision of Everett Transit <br /> service. <br /> Councilmember ntrod cing Resolution <br /> Passed and approved this 4th day of November, 1998. <br /> or <br /> Frank Anderson, Council Presideā¢t <br />
